Everything you need to know about window tint in Ohio — the law, what VLT means, and how to care for your tint.

Top 5"
Windshield

Laws can change — we build every job to stay compliant, so you never risk a ticket. Mirrored, red and yellow film are not allowed.

What does VLT % mean?

VLT is Visible Light Transmission — the percent of light a tint lets through. Lower VLT means darker. A 50% tint lets in half the light; 20% lets in much less. We help you pick a legal, good-looking shade.

Why ceramic?

Ceramic film blocks more heat and UV than standard tint without going darker, won't interfere with phone or GPS signal, and lasts longer. Best if staying cool and protecting your interior matters most.

Aftercare

  • • Don't roll tinted windows down for a few days.
  • • Light haze or small bubbles are normal and clear as it cures.
  • • Clean with a soft cloth and ammonia-free cleaner.
